JOB DESCRIPTION: §Ability to identify database requirements from established business processes §Ability to write SQL queries §Proficiency designing and developing relational database management systems based on identified requirements (Microsoft Access preferred) §Proficiency using Excel – developing pivot tables and manipulating data sets § Performs analysis, research, and coordination in support of the DOE Office of Cyber Security federal staff in the collection, validation, and reporting of data from cyber security data calls, including FISMA, OMB metrics, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), and internal scorecard reporting. §Advise on the implementation of relevant Federal and Departmental memoranda, regulations, and policies in the data collection and reporting program. §Assist with the development and presentation of training workshops and briefings §Assist in performing objective-based analysis on data call submissions. §Prepare correspondence, procedural documentation, reference materials, and any assessment tools, with subject matter experts as necessary, to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of data call submissions and analyses. §Assist with the investigation, resolution, and tracking of process and submission discrepancies and irregularities. §Provide advisory services to Departmental Program Offices in support of reporting requirements. § Work with Program Offices to ensure that their data collection and validation processes are effective and current with DOE requirements. Job Requirements: · Must have SQL, Access and ability to make pivot tables ·PC and desktop applications competency, with extensive knowledge of MS Excel and Access · Ability to take initiative and work flexibly and independently, adhere to priorities, and meet multiple deadlines in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and resourceful. ·Preferred knowledge of and experience with FISMA, NIST, FIPS, OMB, and other applicable Federal requirements, policies, methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures. · A.S. degree in Information Technology or comparable discipline and 2 to 4 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. · US Citizen (REQUIRED); Ability to obtain a DOE “Q” or U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
