Engineering Recruiter— Waltham

Softworld, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Recruiter to join our growing Engineering Practice.  A proven track record in the contract staffing or technical services industry is required.  Individuals with any amount of local or national contract Sales or Recruiting experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

  • Source and develop relationships with engineering consultants through networking, cold/warm calling, and referrals
  • Utilize internal database, job boards, LinkedIn, Social Media, User Groups, and other sources to identify and recruit consultants within the Engineering space.
  • Partner with Sales team to act as the Engineering SME with Softworld clients.
  • Manage candidates through the entire recruiting life cycle including submittal, interview preparation, offer acceptance, and onboarding.

Corporate Controller— Waltham

Softworld, Inc is looking for an experienced Corporate Controller to oversee our accounting department. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, budgeting, developing internal accounting controls, tracking high volume corporate client accounts and building a strong financial team. The successful candidate for this position will report directly to our CFO and play an instrumental role in the financial future of the company.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA/MBA a plus
  • 5+ years Public accounting and/or corporate experience, services industry a plus
  • 2+ years managing, training and developing of staff level employees
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining superior level of productivity
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies
  • Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability

This individual will be accountable for business development in the services industry including the following: Client relationship building lead identification and qualification, setting appointments, creating and developing proposals and pricing models, making presentations, documenting customer agreements (e.g., contract, service agreement), closing sales through effective negotiation, documenting sales activities and may conduct business reviews.  After the client relationship has been fully developed, the solutions manager is responsible for partnering with the client to ensure effective service delivery. Successful business development will result in cost-effective, quality solutions for our customers for FSP, professional services and consulting within the eClinical Electronic Data Management industries.

Project Associate (Vita Data Sciences, a Division of Softworld)— Waltham

Support project management activities at Vita Data Sciences. Responsible for the day-to-day support of client projects and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, documents and communication tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other relevant documents for prospective clients in the life sciences industry.
  • Read, understand and train clinical study team on the protocol and study/project objectives.
  • Lead kickoff meetings and other clinical project related meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop project schedules, and review (or analyze) project cost, scope, schedule and quality.
  • Ensure good clinical practice (GCP) compliance to the organization’s policies and SOPs.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage statistical programming efforts within SAS to generate the clinical datasets, tables, listings and figures. This includes a mix of both individual hands-on SAS Programming, as well as people and process management.
  • Serve as a “face to the client” for at-large relationship management to external clients.
  • Coordinate resource allocation on designated projects for the Vita Data Sciences team.
  • Participate as a thought leader in the space to the at-large life sciences community.
  • In coordination with the management of Vita Data Sciences, contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the organization.

  • Supports creation of cdisc datasets (sdtm and adam), production/validation of outputs (tables, listings and figures), and review of submission deliverables
  • Assists statisticians in the development of saps, table and listing shells.
  • Develops software validation procedures and test plans, as necessary. serve as independent project lead: coordinating tasks and work plans for assigned projects and client deliverables.
