Life Sciences Recruiter — Waltham, MA
Softworld, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Life Sciences Recruiting professional to join a high performing team in our Waltham, MA office. A proven track record in the contract Life Sciences staffing is required. Individuals with any amount of local or national contract Life Sciences experience are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Source and develop relationships with life science consultants through networking, cold/warm calling, and referrals
- Utilize internal database, job boards, LinkedIn, Social Media, User Groups, and other sources to identify and recruit consultants within your area of technical expertise.
- Develop technical expertise in one or more of Softworld’s recruiting sectors (Validation, SAS Programming, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management)
- Manage candidates through the entire recruiting life cycle including submittal, interview preparation, offer acceptance, and onboarding.
- Provide best in class service to Softworld’s billing consultants ensuring that their needs and expectations are being met.
- Meet or exceed Gross Profit and Start goals as set by your manager
- Maintain strong Gross Profit margins using knowledge of the IT consulting market and skilled negotiations with consultants.
- Develop strong internal relationships with your sales partners to qualify reqs and deliver consultants to Softworld clients
- Stay up to date on trends within the industries and technology sectors that you support
Qualifications
- Strong background in agency recruiting specifically within Life Sciences recruiting.
- Expertise in search techniques using multiple recruiting sources
- 2+ years of experience initiating and maintaining long-lasting consultant relationships within Life Sciences.
- Ability to proactively promote candidates to support our customer base.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to be comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Solutions Manager (Life Sciences) – Waltham, MA
This individual will be accountable for business development in the Life Science space including the following: territory management, lead identification and qualification, cold calling, setting appointments, creating and developing proposals and pricing models, making presentations, documenting customer agreements (e.g., contract, service agreement), closing sales through effective negotiation, documenting sales activities and may conduct business reviews. After the account has been sold, the Business Development Representative is responsible for partnering with the companies to ensure effective service delivery. Successful business development will result in cost-effective, quality solutions for our customers for staffing, FSP, and professional services within the Life Science space.

After the client relationship has been fully developed, the solutions manager is responsible for partnering with the client to ensure effective service delivery. Successful business development will result in cost-effective, quality solutions for our customers for FSP, professional services and consulting within the eClinical Electronic Data Management industries.

Java Developer
Responsibilities include: Write high-quality software code that complies with design specifications and meets development and support requirements. Instrumental in all aspects of software engineering including but not limited to gathering requirements, assisting in design, implementation, testing and user support. Participate in technical design and development by using J2EE technologies. Participate in the development of frameworks including Spring (MVC and Boot). Technical Lead

Responsible for study closeout and providing submission ready statistical programming deliverables to the client. Ensure compliance of CDISC SDTM and ADaM datasets by running Open CDISC validator and documenting issues. Generate and review submission documents such as define.xml, SDTM annotated CRF, and reviewer’s guide. Ensure review of study documents such as Protocol, CRF, and SAP.
